sauce pouch packing machine

A sauce pouch packing machine is selected by viscosity, fill temperature, pouch opening and how product on the seal face will be detected. This page is an installation-environment check, not a gallery of finished brands. Upstream product feed, the gripper cell and downstream coding must be named before factories can quote the same duty.

Installation environment

Operating context
Typical US sauce pouch programs pack ketchup, chili, dressings or similar viscous fills into premade stand-up or spouted pouches. Viscosity at the fill temperature defines pump type; a water trial does not represent cold sauce. Hygiene rooms, drain layout and wash-down chemicals belong in the RFQ because they change guarding and electrical ratings. Powder pouch programs are a different dosing problem and are treated on the integration page.
Installation environment: Upstream
Confirm how sauce reaches the fill station: hopper, jacketed tank, or buyer-owned pump. State viscosity band, particulates (seeds, herbs) and fill temperature. If the pouch uses a spout, the gripper and spout clamp are part of the machine question, not a later accessory. Upstream also includes pouch magazines in a wash-down zone: film cartons should not sit on a wet floor without a named table. Representative production samples of pouch and sauce must be confirmed before SAT language is copied from a brochure.
Control boundary
The quoted cell should name opening cups, fill nozzle height and top-seal jaw width. Sauce strings and splash onto the seal area are a known packing risk; ask which drip control, suction or wipe is included. Fill accuracy may be volumetric or by weight; the method must match the SAT sheet. Cycle time on water is not validated output. Compressed air demand, connected load and footprint must match the room. PLC interface to a buyer SCADA is extra until listed.
Downstream
Finished pouches may go to a cooling belt, inkjet coder, checkweigher or case packer. Those machines have different wash-down ratings. If the hall already has a filler for bottles, that equipment is outside this cluster. Ask who collects rejected pouches and how seal inspection is recorded. Compare total installed cost: machine, shipping, utilities and spare jaws, not only the cell price. Read pouch route questions before mixing forming and premade quotes.

Limitation: high-viscosity or particulate sauces may need a different nozzle and slower cycle than a thin dressing. Spouted pouches need gripper features that plain pouches do not. We do not publish a universal accuracy figure. Adjacent beverage filling machines stay outside this brief unless you open a separate inquiry. Optional budget notes should label per-machine versus whole-order USD so comparisons stay on one basis.
