What enters the pouch cell

Material entering the machine
Name the product as sauce, powder, granules or a mixed fill. Viscosity and temperature for sauces, and particle size plus dusting for powders, decide pump, auger or weigher ownership. Feedstock that still contains lumps or trapped air will contaminate the seal area even if the gripper cycle looks fast on an empty pouch.
Required output
State accepted pouches per minute at the named fill and seal, not a maximum mechanical cycle time. Throughput without test conditions is a nominal figure. Include reject allowance for failed opening or dirty seals.
Duty cycle
Write shifts per day, wash-down frequency and how often zipper versus plain pouches run. Changeover time is a commercial line, not a brochure extra.

How a pouch trial is recorded

Which premade pouch and closure features must the gripper handle?
  1. Representative sample

    Send production-grade empty pouches and the actual product. Zipper, spout, stand-up gusset and film stiffness change opening cups. A trial on office-sample pouches does not stand in for plant film.

  2. Demonstration

    Ask the factory to record pouch opening, fill accuracy and top-seal appearance on the same video or FAT sheet. Dosing pumps or weighers should be present if they are in the commercial offer; a gripper-only dry cycle is a different object.

  3. Acceptance record

    Pass criteria should name fill tolerance, seal contamination checks and first-good pouch after a format change. FAT at the supplier and SAT at the plant remain contract items; this desk does not sign those protocols.

Which responsibilities remain with the equipment supplier and buyer?

The supplier confirms feasibility of the named pouch and product, lists included tooling, and states FAT witness points. The buyer supplies pouch drawings, product samples, utilities, destination and who owns dosing, coding and downstream case packing.
